The cost of grooming varies depending on several factors, including your pet’s breed, coat and skin condition, size, and temperament.

I use high-quality products and equipment, and pricing reflects the time and care each pet requires.

If you’d like a more accurate estimate, I recommend booking a meet and treat session so I can assess your pet’s needs in person.

Yes, you're welcome to stay if your dog is anxious and you feel your presence would help. However, if I feel that you being there is making your pet more unsettled, I may ask you to step out for their comfort and safety.

If you do choose to stay, please remain for the whole appointment, as coming and going can be disruptive for your pet.

Grooming times vary based on breed, coat condition, and behaviour.

Dogs: Appointments typically take 2 to 3 hours.

Cats: Appointments usually last around 1 hour.

For first-time visits, I allow a little extra time so your pet can settle in and we can get to know one another.

This depends on your pet’s breed, coat type, how much grooming is done at home, and the style you're after.

I’ll always work with you to develop a schedule that supports your pet’s coat health and helps maintain the look you want.

No, I don’t offer grooming services for aggressive pets.

While I continue to develop my skills and knowledge in this area, I’m not currently equipped to safely groom animals displaying aggressive behaviour.

I’d be happy to recommend specialists who are better suited to support these pets.

During the bath, I’ll check your pet thoroughly for fleas. If any are found, I’ll let you know immediately. I’ll do my best to remove as many as possible through washing and drying, but this won’t eliminate the problem completely.

You’ll need to treat your pet with a veterinary-recommended flea product and also treat your home and car. I can suggest effective products when you collect your pet.

Please note: there is an additional charge if fleas are found, due to the extra cleaning and care required afterwards.

Yes – depending on the severity of the matting and your pet’s tolerance. If it's possible to brush the matting out without causing discomfort, I will. However, your pet’s welfare is always my priority, and in some cases the kindest and safest option is to clip the matting out.

An additional charge applies for matting due to the wear on equipment and the extra time needed.

Yes, I can groom dogs in season, provided they are behaving as normal. As I work one-to-one, there are no other dogs present.

I do not groom pregnant dogs, as any stress could risk their pregnancy. If you're planning to breed, it’s best to book a grooming appointment before mating.

Absolutely. I don’t use cages or crates. Your dog is welcome to explore my secure back garden before, during (if they need a little break), and after their groom.

I believe in a relaxed, low-stress environment to help your pet feel comfortable and safe.
