Designed especially for puppies aged 3 to 6 months, the Barking Pawfect Puppy Package is a gentle, four-session introduction to the world of grooming.
These early sessions are all about building trust, confidence, and positive associations with the grooming salon—setting your pup up for a lifetime of stress-free grooms.
Each session is carefully tailored to your puppy’s individual needs and comfort level. I take things slowly, allowing them to explore the sights, sounds, and sensations at their own pace, using plenty of praise, patience, and positive reinforcement along the way.
From gentle brushing to getting used to the bath, dryer, and being handled, this package helps your pup grow in confidence and ensures they feel safe, calm, and happy every step of the way.

How does the package work?
Session 1 - Getting Comfortable
This session is all about calm, positive exploration. Your puppy will be gently introduced to the grooming salon at their own pace, with plenty of time to take in the new sights, sounds, and smells in a safe and reassuring environment. They'll enjoy a relaxed brush-through, time getting used to the grooming table, and lots of praise, play, and tasty treats to help them feel comfortable and confident.
To support your grooming routine at home, you'll also receive a puppy-friendly brush and comb to take with you, along with a personalised demonstration on how to care for your pup’s coat between appointments.
Session 2 – Building Confidence
In this session, I gently revisit everything from the first visit to reinforce those positive experiences and boost your puppy’s confidence.
I introduce a calm, gentle bath using puppy-safe products, followed by a low-noise blow dry—all with plenty of cuddles, praise, and reassurance.
Your puppy will also be introduced to the sound and feel of clippers and scissors, helping them get familiar without any trimming just yet.
Session 3 – Light Grooming Introduction
By this stage, your puppy should be feeling more confident and at ease in the grooming environment.
This session builds on everything covered in the first two visits, and gently introduces their first bit of styling.
It includes a hygiene trim, face tidy, and paw and nail trim—all carried out with patience, kindness, and plenty of positive reinforcement to ensure your pup stays relaxed and happy throughout.
Session 4 – Puppy’s First Full Groom
Your puppy is now ready for their first full groom!
This session includes a complete bath, gentle blow dry, and a full trim and tidy tailored to their breed and coat type.
Every step is taken slowly and with care to ensure it’s a positive, confidence-boosting experience.
Your pup will leave looking, feeling, and smelling their absolute best—ready to take on the world, one wag at a time!
